Yep I was definitely mental haha was an absolutely shocking run was beaten after the first hurdle and Gatepost just wasn’t good enough really need to get back to picking winners.
Bangor 16:25 Hennessy 25/1 Ladbrokes
On career low handicap mark, hasnt run over hurdles for the last few years where he is running in far better class races off higher marks. If he still retains any ability over hurdles he is handicapped to win. Risky selection but 25/1 makes it a great bet.
Lingfield 14:25 Gatepost 9/2 Ladbrokes
This horse has lots of class if he can find something near his best today I believe he will go close.

Really am annoyed today! Award winner ran another shocker which I was half expecting given there wasn’t alot of money for him before the off.
But the second selection is what angers me very annoyed I talked myself off backing what’s for tea who ended up winning the race.
Perhaps my luck isn’t in back to drawing board to get me those winners.
It’s been a while since I have had a selection I truly fancy, and again today I am not 100% confident. Racing is definitely suffering from post Cheltenham syndrome. As we are getting closer to the summer I have been trying to find horses who enjoy a bit of sun on there backs and who seem to perform better in the warming months.
Fontwell 15:20 Award Winner 5/1 Ladbrokes
This horse extremely disappointing in its previous race (when heavily backed into favourite). I’m putting up this selection based around that market confidence and because this horse has won here course and distance on Good to Firm going (today being good). That win came off a higher mark than todays mark with one of the best apprentice jockeys around. This horses form does show though he isnt a horse to put all your faith in, hoping today I have caught him on the right day.
Fontwell 16:30 Bon Spiel 5/2 Ladbrokes
I’m purely putting this selection up, as the sponsors of this race is in fact this horses trainers racing club. For this reason alone gives this horse a good chance! Not only this but this horse boasts good form around this track. However if the sponsor wasn’t the trainers racing club then I would seriously be considering a bet on What’s For Tea 10/1 Victor Chandler who I believe is off a very handy mark (perhaps a reverse forecast here is the bet)
Award Winner is my most solid selection today, but do find 16:30 Fontwell a very interesting race. My bet today is a win double with perhaps a reverse forecast in the 16:30.

2 extremely poor selections yesterday, I will not force myself to put selections up on this blog again.
Rivermouth was backed into 9/2 combination favourite and won, definitely made hard work of it. Almost falling 2 fences from home when 5 lengths clear, then took it easy in front. Should of won more comfortably but a win is a win hope you all got the 8/1 on it.
Jungle bay was disappointing coming third.
Today’s results makes my followers 28points in front. Hope I can continue to pick these winners
Have a selection today but had to read form from a different source which I never like doing but from what I have seen I believe this selection must have a chance today:
2:55 Huntingdon Rivermouth 8/1 Victor Chandler
This horses jumping has let him down massively when going over fences. Despite his poor jumping managed to grab third at this track last year off a mark of 97, today he is running off mark of 83 along with the 3lbs claimer in Charlie Huxley (who rode this horse the last time he won). If all this wasn’t enough he is today fitted with first time visor if this visor helps the horse focus and improve his jumping he must go close!!! It is an open contest though a few horses with shouts but the 8/1 on this horse is a nice price especially with the each way being first 3 places.
7:20 Kempton Jungle Bay 7/2 Sky Bet
This is bit more of a punt, I follow this Jockey almost everytime he has only one ride. Him being booked for this horse is very interesting stepping down in trip after staying on over 7f and this course couple of weeks ago. I imagine the plan will be go win it from the front which I love at kempton and believe this jockey is very good using these tactics.
How you bet on these ill leave up to you. Me personally as I like big wins and don’t mind losing occasionally to get them I will be doing a win double.
